Their ministry is to simply Magnify the Master through Southern  Gospel music.  They call Ansted, West Virginia home and they travel anywhere they're called to go.
The Faithmen are very proud to be a Morning Star recording artist and enjoy working with the fine staff at the Eddie Crook Company.
The group strives to present professional quality music.  Each member of the group is featured and they use professionally recorded music tracks for their accompaniment.  "It is our responsibility to present the best music we can to the folks who come out to hear us," says Tim.
The Faithmen books an average of ten dates each month.  They travel throughout the northeast and the southeast, and have made many friends.  "We enjoy meeting the people and sharing the Lord with them,"  they point out.  The Faithmen feel that total commitment to God and to your local church is the key to being a success as a person and a ministry.

Tim Skaggs, lead singer and group emcee, is also the group manager.  Tim has been singing on the stage since the age of three, and has been a dominant presence in the group since it's origin.  Tim is an ordained minister, and Pastor of
Richwood First Baptist Church.  He and his wife
have three children and live in Richwood, WV.

Jerry Skaggs, Jr., Tim's older brother, possesses one of the finest tenor voices that you will ever hear.  Since the age of five when he began singing, God has truly blessed him with a vocal range that he reaches with ease.  He  lives in Ansted, WV with
his wife Karen and their two children, where they
                       attend Lighthouse Worship Center.

Jerry Skaggs, who sings the baritone for the group is the father of Tim and Jerry.  Jerry and his wife, Sharon, are thrilled that their sons are serving the Lord.  Jerry Sr. is very pleased to be traveling with his two sons, in ministry.   He lives at Ansted
with his wife Sharon where they attend Lover's
                       Leap Baptist Church.

An evening with the Faithmen will inspire you.  You will experience some of the best old convention style music and some traditional southern Gospel, all of it being a good variety of inspiring music.  Plan to attend and enjoy an evening of inspiring Southern Gospel Music, or as they put it "An Evening of Praise". They devote much of their time to God and their ministry, and it shows... with their song they do praise Him.
